Come celebrate and check out the completed Anderson Building and nearly completed Anderson Park improvements!
Mayor Starker, City Manager, Patrick Goff, Parks and Recreation Director, Joyce Manwaring, and construction company, GH Phipps will all be there to say a few words. Tours of the park and the Anderson Building will follow. Refreshments served.
The 2E ballot initiative passed by voters in 2016, approved a 1/2 cent temporary sales tax increase to fund four projects. Anderson Park is the first 2E project to be completed. The project included the renovation of the Anderson Building featuring a new classroom, updated gym, fitness room, and lobby, new lockers rooms, lifeguard office, roof, siding, sidewalks, entryway, parking lot and improved vehicular circulation; plus park improvements including infrastructure, new sidewalks, baseball field lights, playground, pavilion/performance stage, and a Clear Creek access feature.
