Wheat Ridge Community Foundation
Established in 2003, this 501(c)(3) organization's purpose is to enhance the Wheat Ridge community through culture, education, recreation and beautification. The Foundation provides several opportunities for you or your business to support our community and local families through donations and memorials. Your support is needed to fund the following programs:
Wheat Ridge Recreation Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to eligible individuals and families in financial need, who otherwise could not afford to participate in recreation programs.

Active Adult Center
Donations are used to fund equipment, furniture, and educational programs at the Active Adult Center as well as scholarships for eligible adults, 50 and older, to participate in recreation classes and programs.

Parks, Forestry & Open Space
This program was created to enhance the open space experience for our community through educational opportunities. Environmental education equipment is needed for classes and includes: binoculars, cameras, spotting scopes, books, field guides, microscopes, bug boxes and backpacks. In-kind donations are welcome!

Kyle Brake Memorial Scholarship
Established as a memorial to Kyle Brake, a young boy who loved to play sports, this program provides scholarships for children (Kindergarten through 8th grade) who are limited financially but would like to participate in organized sports. Visit the Kyle Brake Memorial website for more information.
