Planning for Beneficial Bugs

Wednesday, October 6, 2021

The last event of the Regenerate Wheat Ridge Workshop Series!

Join us on October 6th for Regenerate Wheat Ridge's last FREE event of the season!
The workshop will include a survey of techniques to employ when wintering your garden and planning for spring to bring beneficial bugs and limit pests.
Don't miss out on hands-on activity and discussion around worms, ladybugs, bees, and other critters!
The workshop will be led by Jefferson Conservation District’s Urban Agriculture Outreach Technician and regenerative agriculture practitioner, Amy DePierre, Wheat Ridge’s Environmental Interpreter, Certified Interpretive Guide and Journey level Beekeeper, Susan Bennett, and former market grower, horticulturist, and head of Happiness Garden, Wheat Ridge’s Community Garden, Leanna Darnell.
Workshop officially runs from 8:30-9:30am at Happiness Gardens, but also includes a coffee meet & greet starting at 8am.
