Prospect Park Renovation Phase II site work has begun on the entry way, pickleball court, large pavilion, & playground areas. Construction of the foundations for concrete pavement and the post-tension pickleball courts will begin soon!
Work has commenced for the Prospect Park Phase II Improvement Project!
The City of Wheat Ridge and Design Concepts has partnered with Farrington Construction to perform the work needed to complete the project.
We appreciate your patience while the park is completely closed to the Public and would like to remind everyone that the entire site is off limits until after February 28th. The park is closed because of the present scope of heavy site work and demolition.
During this time, you can access the Clear Creek Trail from Miller Trailhead 10400 W 41st Ave., or Youngfield Trailhead 4150 Youngfield St.
Currently, demolition is mostly complete. Site work has begun on the entry way, pickleball court, large pavilion, and playground areas. Work paused for a few days after the winter storms, but is picking up again. Over the next 2 weeks we expect to begin the construction of the foundations for concrete pavement and the post-tension pickleball courts.
