This fall, the Colorado Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) announced community member, Kathleen Martell, as the winner of the Community Service Award for her many contributions to the Wheat Ridge community!
As the current chair of the Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission, Kathleen has an active role various initiatives, including the art drop program and Performances in the Park. Her commitment extends to the development of a sponsorship program for local art funding requests and active participation in the public art selection committee associated with the Clear Creek Crossing development.
Kathleen also plays a pivotal role in the City's Land Acknowledgement Committee, serves on the leadership team for the Sustainable Neighborhoods program at Panorama Park, and is an active member of the Regenerate Wheat Ridge team.
Kathleen's passion, hard work, and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable asset to every team she joins in the Wheat Ridge community. Let's extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kathleen Martell for all she does!
